Auschwitz, the largest concentration camp of Nazi Germany during the II WW, was established in the suburbs of the Oswiecim city (Auschwitz in German), approximately 60 kilometers west of Krakow.
The fortified walls, barbed wires, barracks, gas chambers and crematoria leave a shocking impression allowing to imagine the scale of Holocaust.
Our tour lasts around 7 hours. After arriving to Oswiecim, you visit the place where the 1st camp for men and women was created – Auschwitz. This tour usually takes 2 hours. After a short break, you are taken to Birkenau for another hour with a guide.
