The Salt Mine tour was excellent. It is truly a marvel to be able to see all the sculptures and the Chapel underground. The Auschwitz Tour was good. However, our guide was hurrying along with little regard for older tourists who could not keep up with the pace. When it rained while we were there, several tour groups took shelter, but she had a hat and did not seem to care about anyone else. This experience left a bad taste. I have used Viator extensively in UK, Ireland and other countries and have always been very satisfied, except for this one.
Wonderful tour which was well Organised. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour!
From start to finish , excellent. Well organised. Tour of Auschwitz was beyond words. Our guide Anna was fantastic. Wieliczka lightened the mood and Piotr our guide was fun and we'll informed. This tour is A MUST
We were in Krakow only for 2 nights and this tour gave us the opportunity to visit both places in one day. Pick up was at 0630hrs in the morning, both the driver and the guide were very heplful and did their best not to waste time until all clients were picked up. The guide at Auschwitz gave us detailed information to understand better what people went through behind those gates. We enjoyed the Salt Mines visit were again we were met by a local guide who guided us down into the mines. It was tiring day but enjoyable day.
When we got to the Salt Mine we had to wait 1.5 hours until our tickets were accepted. Absolutely every restaurant within walking distance was full. We easily could have stopped in town to eat instead of stranding us for 1.5 hours with nothing to eat all day in a remote location.
Really enjoyed great day. Quite harrowing but something I feel everyone should experience to ensure it never happens again. My wife was apprehensive of salt mine with steps and confined space but it was superb. She has a problem knee but wS fine.
