Super Saver Combo: Krakow Old Town and Jewish Quarter Walking Tour with Wawel Castle Guided Tour

Meet your guide at a designated meeting point in Szczepanski Square, a 2-minute walk from the Main Market Square of Krakow. From there, walk through the Planty Gardens, which were once city walls, to see the remaining part of them with the majestic Barbican and St. Florian's Gate. Continue the tour back to the Main Market Square via Florianska St, while listening to the legends about St. Mary's Basilica. See the Cloth Hall, St. Adalbert's Church and the Town Hall Tower with the head of Eros Bendato beneath.
Leaving the Main Square (Rynek Glowny), you'll proceed towards the University district, where you will view the buildings of the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Maius (the oldest academic building in Poland) and Collegium Novum (the rector's office) and hear the stories about WWII. Continue the tour to Kazimierz (Jewish Quarter), once a former city, today one of the districts of Krakow. See the remarkable Oppidum Judaeorum (Jewish Town), synagogues and cemetery and learn about the mixed Polish and Jewish history as well as legends. From the Jewish Town, continue to Wolnica Square, a former Market Square of Kazimierz, just a little smaller than the Main Market Square of Krakow and you will also see the one of a kind Corpus Christi Church. From Kazimierz, walk back to the Old Town, ending the walking portion of the tour beneath the Wawel Castle, the royal residence of Polish princes and kings since the 10th century.
After a short break, ascend Wawel Hill - Krakow’s number one tourist attraction and one of Europe's most spectacular medieval castles. Take a 1.5-hour tour of Wawel Royal Castle (Zamek Wawelski) to visit the The Lost Wawel exhibition. Strolling through the royal chambers, your expert guide will bring the castle to life by explaining.
