About this activity
Meet your guide and join your (very) small group on this extraordinary journey of locating gnoms.

Locate some as they hide among the streets and narrow alleys, eluding the sight of passers-by.

Walk with your small group ( there will be a max of 8 people) through winding maze of cobblestoned lanes, church spires and vibrantly coloured buildings.

Pass charming historical monuments and medieval architecture with a private guide.

You’ll be sure to see the best of the old town and get plenty of personal attention as you focus on locating the famous gnomes of Wroclaw.

Learn how dwarves came to Wroclaw and their daily habits and see ways to introduce your very own dwarf. Discover the streets of Wroclaw as your guide talks about “Papa Dwarf” the first dwarf to call the town home.

Discover what "Orange Alternative" is and how the dwarves became the symbol of the anti-communist underground movement . They used to meet in the 80s to protest against the authoritarianism of Poland’s Soviet masters.

Your guide talks you through the city as he helps you locate each and every gnome registered with its location, profession and juicy details about their lives.

Admire the

Town Hall and the Cathedral that overlooks the Market Square. Take in the impressive sight, with the decorative doorways and many spires and carved gargoyles looking down. Wander the narrow streets around the cathedral to see things like the

Hansel & Gretel Houses, Ostrow Tumski and Centennial Hall.

Pass stately townhomes as you walk through cobblestoned streets and squares, hearing about Wroclaw's history and architecture dating back to the medieval ages. Settle in for the last part of your tour discovering the

Jewish neighbourhood, Turnski Bridge, University and the Old City Prison.

This was a great tour; it was an excellent overview of the city. Matthew was very knowledgeable and able to accommodate my interests. I saw approximately 60 gnomes on this tour. :)
