It is large square city surrounded by big wall and encircled by a moat, there are 5 gates and each gates designed with giant head on top tower with 4 faces looking to cardinal directions, there are 54 demons and 54 gods put on both sides of the causeway look like kingdom of the god's city guardian, The statues hold giant snake ( Naga ) with 7 heads. The motif derived from the Hindu mythology ' The churning the ocean of milk '

Bayon was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12 century and early 13 century, dedicated to Mahayana Buddhism. The temple locate in the centre of Angkor Thom, the capital city he turned into a safer heaven by erecting fortified walls around it. Jayavarman VII placed his kingdom under the protection of Buddha, whose statue was place in the central shrine of the temple, of the Budhisattva Lokeshvara whose features are represented on face-towers of the temple, covering the cardinal directions, thus extending the compassion of the king and a god he identified with over entire kingdom. Bayon is the last complex temple built by the Khmer king, it is smaller than Angkor Wat but the smiling faces, carvings, the bas-reliefs of this temple are greatest!

Ta Prohm is one of Many temples built by a legendary Khmer king Jayavarman VII, he dedicated the temple to the memory of his mother, venerated in the likeness of Prajnaparamita, The mother of all Buddha. When visitors returning home are asked which temples made a strong impression of them, Ta Prohm often makes the top of the list. A beautiful temple, bound by massive roots of huge trees also known as Tomb Raider temple.
