Stop At: Angkor Wat, Siem Reap 17254 Cambodia

We will come and pick you up early in the morning at 4:30 am or 4:40 am ( if you have got Angkor Pass) . We will then take the short journey out to Angkor Wat and watch the sun rise over the majestic temple. After the sunrise, we will explore Angkor Wat temple and I will explain the history and architecture to you.

Stop At: Ta Prohm, National Road #6, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia

After Angkor Wat, we’ll head over to Ta Prohm. This temple was built in the Bayon style in the late 12th and early 13th century. Ta Prohm was originally built as a Buddhist monastery and university. One of the unique features of Ta Prohm is that it has largely been left to the jungle and the trees are literally growing right through the middle of the temple. Ta Prohm is one of the most popular temples in Siem Reap as it was used as the location for the Tomb Raider movie featuring Angelina Jolie.

Stop At: Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia

We will then head over to Prasat Banteay Kdei which means “A Citadel of Chambers” in English. This Buddhist temple was again built in the late 12th and early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII. The temple is currently undergoing restoration, but is still open to visitors.

Stop At: Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia

We will then head back to your hotel for a few hours to take a break and refresh. In the afternoon is Angkor Thom, the ancient capital city of the Khmer Empire. Here we can see lots of things including the Royal Palace, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, Bayon temple, and more. Finally, we’ll head over to the South Gate of Angkor Thom to watch the beautiful sunset over the moat before taking you safely back to your hotel.
