Discovering Beng Mealea Temple Half-Day Tour

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8.00 am direction Beng Melea temple. Located around 70 kilometers north-east Siem Reap, Beng Melea is named as “the lost temple of Angkor”. The secluded location will give you a sense of “explorer” discovering a lost world as you will have to clambered and crawled over piles of moss covered rubble and sprawling roots. Due to its remote location, this temple still sees few visitors.
Then will return to Siem Reap for lunch and back to your hotel finish. 
 About Beng Mealea Temple
It was built as a Hindu temple, but there are some carvings depicting Buddhist motifs. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps. For years, it was difficult to reach, but a recently built road to the temple complex of Koh Ker passes Beng Mealea has allowed more visitors to reach the site easier.
