At the Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre, we’ll learn all about the lifecycle of butterflies. The netted tropical enclosure here contains thousands of beautiful, free-flying butterflies and is the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia.

We will visit the Banteay Srei Temple, which is home to some of the most exquisite stone carvings on earth. We’ll take a look around, learn a little about the temple and its history and, let’s be honest, pretend to be Indiana Jones for a few minutes.

Stop At: Cambodia Landmine Museum, Angkor National Park, 7km south of Banteay Srey Temple, Siem Reap Cambodia
Landmine Museum which established in 1997 by ex-child soldier Aki Ra. He returns to the village after years fighting during the civil war, he planted thousands of mines and began removing then by hands and defusing them with homemade tools.
After we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch consisting of 3 local dishes such as Cambodian chicken soup, sweet and sour fried fish and fried eggplant with pork (please note that dishes may change depending on the season and availability of the ingredients).

We’ll stop to meet the sugar palm community at Preah Dak Village, the biggest sugar palm producer in Siem Reap. Here you’ll get a chance to learn how this organic sugar is produced and hopefully you’ll get to taste one of their sweet treats too!

Preah Khan Temple is one of the largest complexes at Angkor and well worth a visit. We will talk around the temple, hearing about the temple’s history.

Neak Pean Temple
Description: Before we head back to the town, we will stop at Neak Pean temple. This is a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baraym, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.
