Meet a driver at your hotel in Siem Reap for 7am departure to Preah Vhear Temple, a roughly 3-hour, 30-minute trip towards the northern border with Thailand.
The Hindu temple of Preah Vihear is dedicated to the god Shiva, and dates back to the first half of the 11th century, with an even longer cultural history. The temple is composed of a series of sanctuaries linked by a system of walkways and staircases that extend along central axis, and it's known for exceptional architecture.
After an extensive tour through the complex, as well as lunch at a local restaurant, begin the return to Siem Reap, with drop-off at your hotel at roughly 8pm.
