Stop At: Kampong Kleang Floating Village Tour, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia

This tour starts after breakfast at 8am. We’ll head out to Kampong Khleang then take boat ride to the floating villages. Here you can see one of the fours floating villages situated near Siem Reap. The houses sit on tall stilts which for the most of the year are fully submerged in water. Some houses can even be as high as 8 meters. Every year, the Tonle Sap floods the surrounding areas and provides life to the region. On top of the water, you’ll see schools, clinics, homes, and even small shops. You can watch how the local people are able to live on the water.

Stop At: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia

We’ll start the afternoon with Beng Mealea. This stunning temple has been left to ruins and is rarely visited by tourists due to its remote location away from Siem Reap town. However, after setting eyes on the temple, you’ll understand why it’s worth the trip. Beng Mealea is a favourite for all who visits and it’s one of the most stunning temples built throughout the entire Khmer empire. After the tour, we’ll drop you back to your hotel or any other destination in Siem Reap.
