2. An ancient royal city of Angkor Thom (the best-preserved South gate, the smiley-faced Bayon templ and Elephant terrace) shortly after the sun has shown up

3. Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple) by 8am which most people haven't reached there

4. Back to the world's largest Angkor temple while others are having their lunch and siesta break

Our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 4:45am to view the sunrise over Angkor Wat temple from the outside. Shortly after the sun has shown up, we will head a little north to take pleasure in visiting Angkor Thom (the South gate, the smiley-faced Bayon temple and Elephant terrace), which is an ancient royal city, while the temperature is still low and with less tourists.

By 8am, the overgrown Ta Prohm temple, which was featured in the Hollywood Tomb Raider1, still has small amount of people. We'll take around an hour for paying a visit to this temple.

We understand that a power nap is important for those who get up very early, so we will send you back to rest in the hotel until 12:30pm and we'll get back to the world's largest religious Angkor Wat temple while people are having their lunch break. We generally get back to the hotel by 3pm or later if you would like to visit another temple around there.
