Excellent tour guide with a fascinating stop at the silk farm. The artisan workshops were a first class look at how things are made. This a wonderful way to train people and continue their cultural arts
Our time with Sopheak, our guide, was amazing. This tour really showed us a side of Siem Reap we knew little about and I feel like we left Cambodia totally in love with this city because of this tour. Sopheak picked us up on time from the hotel and took us to the memorial for the killing fields and then to a pottery and artists shop. Afterwards he totally customized the tour to our likes. We spend hours in a local market shopping and sampling local food. We had a great lunch at a local restaurant and he suggested we go see the floating villages. We agreed and spend a beautiful two hours on a boat going through the floating villages and learning about their way of life. At the end Sopheak even helped us mail off items back home! We loved the tour and we recommend taking this. Get out of the temples and into town! We discovered there is so much to see!
The city tour was great and comfortable. The tour guide, Sopheak brought us to the most interesting places in Siem Reap such as the silk farm, war museum, the killing fields...etc. That we were able to learn the history of Cambodia. We pulled over a lotus farm, took photos and tasted the lotus fruit. This private city tour is recommendable.
