From the moment you arrive, guests have called the islands a true haven for rest seekers with a perfect balance between beach, nature and keeping its cultural values. The island of the eagles is best explored guided by locals who often seek out new paths, unexplored trails that cannot be reached by air-conditioned means of transport. On this tour, we pedal through Langkawi’s finest example of jungle, teeming with wildlife and abundant moments of seeing only green in front of your eyes.

This 4 hour excursion through some of Langkawi’s greenest parts can start both in the morning or the afternoon. The duration of the actual tour depends on the suggested route and weather conditions, aligned with the customer’s wishes. You are welcomed by your experienced trail leader for the coming half day at the meeting point after being picked up by a driver from your hotel along selected beaches. Setting your saddle and steer at appropriate heights by the team, the tour commences with a short introduction of what can be expected, together with a safety briefing. We’re using well maintained, 21-gear mountain bikes for this leisurely biking trip through some of the island’s lushest parts. By avoiding the main routes, guests will be elated seeing an authentic side of Langkawi where western influences may have not yet reached the confines of small local villages.

Ample stops will be made to catch a glimpse of how the sands of time almost have stood still here. The trip is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness as the main goal of this tour is to get to know the green heart of Langkawi in a relaxing, most enjoyable way. Having planned a carefully plotted route, the end of your 4 hours pedalling experience ends right where it started. It is here where you return your bicycle; thank the team on the ground before being transferred back to your accommodation along one of Langkawi’s popular beaches.
