About this activity
Your driver guide pick you up from your hotel and head to Mount Chin Chang. Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, embark on the cable car and be taken up to the cool Mount Chin Chang. Enjoy an exhilarating ride experience and catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna that surrounds the area.
There are three stations: Base Station, Middle Station and Top Station. Visitors will disembark at the middle station to admire the view and take some photos before continuing to the top station. You can find a small café at the viewing platform selling drinks and snacks.
Next, we continue to Oriental Village located at the foothills of Mount Chin Chang. Visitors can spend some time wandering at the shopping mall or go for some outdoor activities such as ATV trails, motor-cross rides or Segway tour (at your own expense). Your guide will bring you to SkyBridge which is an amazing curved suspension bridge suspended by a single pylon above a deep ravine between two mountain tops.
The last stop is at Eagle Square (Dataran Lang). This is a great location for photography and try plenty of delicious food near the harbour. After the tour, your driver transfers you back to your hotel safely.

During Ramadan (May-Jun of every year), operating hours for Cable Car and SkyBridge are restricted. Entry to SkyBridge is allowed till 4:30 PM, which is one of the key things to do in Langkawi. For a tour operator who has been doing this for years, this should be something that they know. Our tour started at 1:45 PM and the cab driver took us to the Cable Car and SkyBridge activity the last. We were denied tickets to SkyBridge. Moreover, he took us to an activity which was not part of the itinerary. If we would have opted for it, we would have lost additional 1 hour and eventually would have missed the Cable Car ride as well. So the operator / driver tried his best to avoid paying for the entry ticket to Cable Car and SkyBridge but luckily we managed to at least wrangle one of these out. Recommendation: Tell your driver to get you to that activity first. It opens at 9AM. It is supposed to be open till 7 PM so that you can watch the sunset from Cable Car or the SkyBridge.
