Our Itinerary
Day 1 (L D H ) KUALA LUMPUR - TAMAN NEGARA ( Drive time 3 1/2 hours)
7am After breakfast depart for Taman Negara National Park, a 4-hour drive away. 12pm On arrival, Take a a walk on the Canopy walkway and catch a bird's eye view of the world's oldest stunning rainforest. Continue on with jungle trekking where the nature guide will belt out facts and taboos of the jungle. Packed snacks in the Rainforest followed by Rapids shooting - a take home thrill as the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and you will get a "chance" to get wet. Visit an Aborigine Village to experience their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. The rainforest is their supermarket. Proceed to a mesmerizing Rainforest Waterfalls for a cool dip (Complimentary). Return to hotel. 7pm After dinner join the Nature Guide for the Nite Jungle walk in the "hunt" for the lesser animals as in mousedeer, spiders, insects etc. You are advised to keep count of the number of animals sighted and compare notes with your guide. Climb an Observation Hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. Return to hotel and Good Nite !
Day 2 (B L D H ) TAMAN NEGARA - CAMERON HIGHLANDS ( Drive time 3 1/2 hours)
8am After breakfast check out and depart for Cameron Highlands. 12pm Lunch and the Mossy Forest tour begins - the cool 1 hour walk opens up to beautiful scenic landscapes and will reveal Camerons' unique flora such as the carnivorous pitcher plant, primitive ferns, wild spices, and medicinal herbs. The oldest tea plantation allows tourist visits and works closely with WWF in the conservation of our endangered elephants and Orang Utan. The proceeds on sale in the tea cafe goes towards their conservation efforts, At the Butterfly Farm various butterflies dance on scented flowers and ferns. Farm tour has been arranged for you. Hand pick fresh strawberries and then visit a farm to see vegetables growing. 1700hrs Check in to hotel. Free at leisure. 7pm Dinner is "Hot Pot" - a signature dish in the Camerons that blends well with the cool weather. Bring along sweaters as the nites are cold.
Day 3 ( B L ) CAMERONS - KUALA LUMPUR (Drive Time 3 1/2 hours)
1200pm Check out depart for Kuala Lumpur enroute photo shoot of the Cascading Waterfalls and bonus visit the famous Batu Caves home to Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during the festival of Thaipusam every year. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple. 5 pm Return transfer to your hotel. End of program.
