Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR - BELUM RAINFOREST (Drive time 4 hours)

Stop At: Gombak, Batu Caves 68100 Malaysia
The iconic Batu Caves blazing in rainbow colors is the home of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during Thaipusam every year. Devotees come to give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple - knees and shoulders covered.

The Royal Belum Rainforest is over 130 million years old tropical rainforest covering 117,500 hectares of untouched virgin jungle paradise with 3000 species of flowering plants, 3 species of the World's largest flowers - the Rafflesia, 64 species of ferns, 300 bird species, 10 species of horn bills (Hornbill Conservation Program by WWF), 14 most threatened mammals as in Elephants, tigers,tapirs etc . Several organisations and even the aborigines are helping in the preservation and conservation of the rainforest and the animals,

Bird watching is a feature in the Royal Belum.

7.30am - 8am Our English speaking Tour Coordinator will fetch you from your hotel reception and depart for the Royal Belum, enroute bonus stop at the iconic Batu Caves.

Lunch would along the way and check in to hotel in Belum Rainforest Resort - the one and only 3 star hotel. Free at leisure. Enjoy the ambience of a rainforest. 1900hrs Dinner at the hotel. Nite Jungle walk with the Nature Guide in the "hunt" for lesser animals as in Mouse deer, spiders, scorpions etc.

Day 2: Belum Rainforest

DAY 02 (B L D H) ROYAL BELUM RAINFOREST BOAT RIDE & JUNGLE TREKKING

BOAT RIDE Catch a boat ride to the starting point of jungle trekking. Walk through yet-to-be spoilt virgin jungle trek.The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of the Royal Belum, the aborigines, the medicinal and poisonous plants and the aphrodisiacs therein.

RAFFLESIA - The world's largest flower is along the trekking route and is subject to bloom.Visit an aborigine village to see their fire making skills and their blowpipe hunting techniques. They live care free lives and the rainforest is their supermarket.

RAINFOREST WATERFALLS Swim and wallow as the mountain fresh waters caress your skin. Packed lunch will be served in this deep jungle ambience. You will be left alone for a while to enjoy the moment. Return to hotel, freshen up and dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: PENANG ISLAND (Drive rtime 3 hours)

Penang Island is one of the prime tourist attractions and listed as a UNESCO Heritage site. Sir Francis Light founded Penang in 1786 and he first landed at Fort Cornwallis. The island boasts luxury hotels at the happening place of Batu Feringghi belt - a beautiful beach set up.

On arrival at Penang, Lunch and visit the

CLAN JETTY The Chinese Communities of earlier years formed clans and lived on houses on stilts partly submerged in water with plank walkways.

TRISHAW RIDE The exhilarating ride should give one an insight of Georgetown - the heritage Capital of Penang Island.

BATU FERINGGHI Your 4 star hotel is located in the happening place of Penang Island - the Batu Ferringhi Beach belt. It boasts of luxury resorts with well landscaped swimming pools, beautiful stretch of sugar white sandy beaches and restaurants selling various cuisines.

DAY 04 ( B H ) PENANG ISLAND

Free and easy. Have a lazy breakfast as you relax. You are all on your own. Lunch and dinner on your own.

9am Our Tour Coordinator will pick you up for a half day tour of Penang Island. Fort Cornwallis was built by the British in the 18th century covers 400 sq feet and houses a few Cannons. The fort was built to protect against the Pirates. It was named after the Governor General of Bengal Charles Cornwallis.

Penang is famous for colonial landmarks as in Khoo Kongsi and the Sleeping Buddha. A trishaw ride through Georgetown - the capital of Penang has been arranged. After lunch, you will be dropped off at your hotel.to enjoy rest of the day at the beach and the swimming pool.
