Itinerary

Day 1: DAY 01 (L D H ) PERHENTIAN JETTY - CHERATING FISHING VILLAGE

Stop At: Cherating Beach, Cherating, Kuantan District, Pahang
10am Meet and greet at Perhentian, Redang or Lang Tengah Jetty and depart for Cherating in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and Club Med is located here. It is a jewel loaded with customs, traditions, arts. houses on stilts and a sleepy fishing village with coconut and casuarina trees. Visit Mat Salleh - the trained Monkey who rains down young coconuts to the beck and call of his master. Ypu will have an audience with Mat Salleh as he sips coconut water with you. Check in to hotel. Free at leisure
The beach facing the South China Sea and the swimming pool will beckon you for a swim.
1900hrs Malaysian dinner at the village.

Day 2: DAY 02 ( B L D H ) CHERATING - TAMAN NEGARA (Drive time : 3 hours)

Stop At: Taman Negara National Park, Pahang
8am Depart for Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered animals as in Elephants, Tigers, Tapirs, Sun Bears, Rhinoceros.. and 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species etc.
On arrival lunch at the floating restaurant. Catch a boat for rapids shooting as the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids . You will reach an aborigine village where you will see first hand fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. The experienced nature guide will belt out facts and taboos of the jungle as he tales you on a jungle walk to a mesmerizing rainforest waterfalls. You can enjoy the cool gush of the waterfalls.
7pm Dinner at floating restaurant and join nature guide in the "hunt" of lesser animals as in mouse deer, scorpions, snakes etc. Then climb an Observation hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt intake. The forest orchestra plays on....

Day 3: DAY 03 ((B L H ) TAMAN NEGARA - KUALA LUMPUR (Drive time 3 1/2 hours)

Stop At: Kuala Lumpur Sentral Railway Station, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan
8am Dwepart Taman Negara for Kuala Lumpur - the capital of Malaysia which began as a rtin mining settlement and now boasts of the Twin Towers with colonial landmarks as in Tudor styled Clubhouses and Moorish designed Courthouses. There is an ethnic mix of people like Malays, Chinese and Indians.
Visit the iconic Batu Caves, the King's Palace, National Monument,
the Independent Square - where colonial landmarks are situated - the Abdul Samad Building, St Mary's Church, Selangor Clubhouse. The Jamek mosque is of unique design and it is here that Kuala Lumpur got her name. Go for a walkabout of Little India ansd lunch would be on a Banana Leaf.

Day 4: DAY 04 ( B L D H ) KUALA LUMPUR - UNESCO MALACCA (Drive time 2 hours)

Stop At: Malacca Heritage Centre, Melaka, Central Melaka District, Melaka State
8am Depart for UNESCO Malacca - a melting pot of history now and a colonial landmark city with Portuguese and Dutch influence. It was a trading port since 1511. The Chinese brought Gold, silver and Buddhism. The Siamese brought Ivory and Buddhism. The Indians brought textiles and Hinduism. The Arabs brought Perfumes and Islam. The British took over in 1795 and left us with Independence on 31 August 1957.
Visit the Stadthuys - Historic Museum and Kampong Morten where a house tour is arranged for you. St Peter's Church is the oldest Catholic church and St Paul's Hill and A Famosa are relics of the past. Then visit the famous JONKERS' Street - a street in Chinatown made famous by Chinese migrants who married into local women and called themselves as "Peranakans". On weekends the street is closed to traffic and it turns into a lively nite market. You will notice heritage buildings on both sides. Lunch will be served here.

Day 5: DAY 05 ( B L D H ) UNESCO MALACCA - CAMERON HIGHLANDS (Drive time 4 hours)

Stop At: Cameron Highlands, Pahang
8am Depart for the Cameron Highlands, founded by a Sir William Cameron in 1885. It is a hill resort 1600 meters above sea level with cool temperatures, known for its farmlands of tea plantation, nurseries, orchard, waterfalls, lakes, wildlife and the aborigines.
After lunch at Tanah Rata, visit the tea plantation - a scenery of greenery. The tea plantation works closely with WWF in the conservation of our endangered elephants, tigers and Orang Utan.
The Butterfly Farm has a farm guide to show you the various insects and reptiles in Camerons. Visit a Strawberry Farm (Optional) and then see a variety of flowers, vegetables grown in the Camerons. Check in to hotel. 7pm Dinner and please bring your sweaters as the nites are cold.

Day 6: DAY 06 (B L H ) CAMERONS HIGHLANDS - PENANG ISLAND (Drive time 3 hours)

Stop At: Penang Hill, George Town, Penang Island, Penang
8am Depart for Penang Island - founded by Sir Francis Light in 1786 and he first landed at Fort Cornwallis. Penang is one of the prime touristic destination with luxury hotels and restaurants at the happening spot Batu Feringghi - the beach belt. The beach boasts of water sports as in jet skiing, para sailing and windsurfing. seafood restaurants, street foods, seafront night markets
Visit the Clan Jetties, Take a Trishaw ride through Georgetown - capital of Penang up to Fort Cornwallis and see the sleeping Buddha before drop off at your hotel in Batu Feringghi. Batu Feringghi boasts of many International hotels, budget hotels as well.
