Sungai Lembing is popular known for the tin mines back in old days. Nowadays, the town become livelier with a new look for the tourists. You will love the nostalgic vibes with the houses and centuries trees around here.
If you come here, don’t miss out the Hanging Bridge.
Sungai Lembing has a few hanging bridges to connect people from the other side of the river to the main town. 'Jambatan Gantung' means hanging bridge and it is used by the local to walk and you can even ride a motobike on this bridge. The locals still used the high hanging bridges even now to cross the Lembing River during the rainy season.
A famous place to visit is the Sg.Lembing noodle factory. The noodles are hand-made using mountain water thus boiled over the charcoal fire. Come here during the morning to noddle making in action.You could even purchase bulk of noodles (1kg above), suits the noddles lovers. Next to the noodle factory, there is a small local food store selling delicious snacks (expanses by your own). Such as mountain water taufufa, dan san fried dough, coconut biscuits & calamansi juice.
The highlight of Sungai Lembing is the Rainbow Waterfall!
We have to ride on the 4WD jeep across mountains and rivers with views. It took about an hour to reach a broader river to the famous waterfall. You have to wade by the rope across the water then hike toward the waterfall. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the top.

• There will be leeches along the trail, please do bring salt or wear any strong insect repellants products.
• The appearance of rainbow is not guarantee because it depends on the weather, sunlight hence your luck.

Experience the Sungai Lembing Mines riding a train through the tunnels. Display network of tunnels spreading over 785 kilometers underground. It’s a world of wonder, full historical infographic of tin mining in Sungai Lembing. The underground tunnel is the largest tin mine in the world! Not to mention it also extremely deep,thus making it the second world deepest mines.

We head on to the next museum which is Sungai Lembing Museum. The former residence of the British mine managers. Variety display set & free knowledge to gain here, there’s everything to know about tin mining.
Before we head back to Kuala Lumpur, we bring you to visit Gua Charas temple or known as Cave Panching. There’s a short climb up the stairs and at the end you will find the sleeping Buddha.
