Our first stop is the St. Peter's church, the oldest operational Catholic Church in Malaysia -The Portuguese occupation of Malacca ended when Malacca felt into the Dutch in 1641.

Visit the Dutch Square - It is a terracotta-red colonial Dutch building, built between 1660 and 1700. It is originally served as the official residence of the Dutch governors and was used as a town hall throughout the British administration.

Christ Church was built in 1753 to celebrate a century of Dutch occupation. The interior of the cathedral has 200-year-old handmade pews, decorative fanlights and plaques that honour Dutch soldiers and locals.

Victoria Fountain was erected in 1904 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. One of the oldest surviving parts of Malacca, Dutch Square’s most prominent building is the Stadthuys and take a walk up to St. Paul’s Hill for a panoramic view of the Malacca Straits. At the top is the ruin of St. Paul’s Church, lined by 17th century Dutch tomb stones.

Continue by visiting the majestic fortress of Porta de Santiago—remains of the once great Portuguese fortress as well as the 17-century St. Peter's Church. Marvel at the intricate architectural designs and stop by the Portuguese Settlement, a community of Kristang or Portuguese-Eurasians.

Stop for a typical local lunch before taking a stroll through the Antiques Row at Jonker Street. The renowned street houses some of the country’s oldest heritage buildings dating back to the 17th century.

Visit the Cheng Hoon Teng temple or the "Temple of Green Cloud" is a Taoist temple founded in the 1600s. It is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy (Kuan Yin). This temple was constructed by skilled workers from China - master craftsmen, artisans and carpenters, who replicated the designs of the Southern Chinese temple. The building conforms strictly to the principles of Feng Shui, incorporating the fundamental belief that every aspect of life is closely related to attaining perfect harmony with nature.

It has recently been restored, and in the process garnered a prestigious UNESCO award for outstanding architectural restoration.
