Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your centrally located hotel in Kunming at 9:00am and then transfer to the Stone Forest, located 80 kilometers south-east of Kunming (about 2 hours).

The Stone Forest is a fantastic natural phenomenon. Its various shapes of karst pillars were formed due to the million years’ movement of the Earth. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani people with unique folk customs. Their colorful embroidery and dances, combined with the natural scenery, will surely leave a deep impression on you.

In the early afternoon you will drive back to Kunming to visit the famous Flower and Bird Market, one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Stroll around the market streets to discover local handicrafts and all sorts of animals being sold.
Around 6:00pm you will be dropped off at your hotel where your tour comes to an end.
