Welcome to Kunming, Yunnan!
In the morning, driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (within the second ring road of Kunming) then drive you to the World Dinosaur Valley. It is the biggest, most complete and oldest dinosaur valley in China, with more than 60 complete dinosaur fossils on display dating from the Jurassic period. You can also see the excavation sites and modern dinosaur replicas.
After lunch we will drive back to Kunming and visit the Jing Xing Bird and Flower Market, which reflects the Old Kunming way of life, with a lot of people selling flowers, birds, fish or insects. Sometime you can even see old people “Liu Niao” which means they take their bird cages out for a walk in the park.
