1 Hour Yoga or Pilates Group Class in Seminyak
Your yoga experience is located at an intimate retreat located in the heart of Seminyak. East meets West at The Amala Spa & Wellness Studio. The resort’s tranquil setting is the perfect relaxation therapy. The gentle pace of life within the resort will help you relax and focus on the wellness program.
Yoga and Pilates classes are held twice per day and taught by professional Balinese yoga instructors. The morning session starts at 9am (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat) or 10.30am (Tue, Sun) and afternoon session at 4pm (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri). Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the class begins. Changing room, shower, towels, and water are provided.
Pilates (60 minutes): This workout focuses on muscular toning and definition through core-stability work. While developing strength, flexibility and body awareness, these specific water movements are also very supportive for those with back problems, weak joints, serious injuries, arthritis and anxiety. It is very safe and highly beneficial during pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
Vinyasa Yoga (60 minutes) This essentially means movement synchronized with breath and is a vigorous style based on a rapid flow through sun salutations.
Hatha Yoga (60 minutes) Includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) which helps bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
