7-Day Komodo Dragon Expedition

Day 1: Kuta - Padang Bai - Senggigi

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Kuta around 07:00 and driven 2.5 hours, in a shared transfer, to Padang Bai harbor. From here you’ll take a two hour fast boat to Senggigi, Lombok Island. Once you arrive in Senggigi, you will walk to your accommodation to check in.

Day 2: Senggigi - Labuhan Lombok - Suranadi Nature Reserve - Lendang Nangka (L/D)

Pick up from your hotel is at approximately 9:00 and you’ll be driven by bus to Labuhan Lombok. En-route you will make stops at traditional villages to experience the daily lives of the locals, as well as enjoying some traditional markets. You will see the Suranadi Nature Reserve, a protected forest spanning 52 hectares. Here you’ll get afternoon tea/coffee whilst enjoying Mt. Rinjani at sunset. In the evening the crew will make a campfire and commence a sing along before dinner and then at 21:00 the boat leaves for Satonda Island.

Day 3: Satonda - Donggo or Kilo (B/L/D)

The boat will arrive at Satonda Island at approximately 07:00. After breakfast you will go ashore to see the island and to swim in the lake. Following this, the boat will set sail to Donggo Beach or Kilo. You'll arrive at either Donggo or Kilo at around 16:30 to enjoy the sunset, before eating dinner on-board and a night-sail to Komodo Island at 21:00.

Day 4: Komodo Island – Red Beach – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)

Arrive at Komodo Island for 08:00 and after some breakfast head ashore in search of some Komodo Dragon sightings. At 11.30 am, the boat will set sail for Red Beach. You will then have lunch on-board before leaving for Labuan Bajo. Enjoy the town before an on-board dinner party at 19:00.

Day 5: Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Gili Laba (B/L/D)

Your boat will leave Labuan Bajo for Rinca Island at about 05:00. From Rinca Island the trip continues to Gili Laba to enjoy some more swimming and snorkelling and you'll then sail west to the nature reserve, Moyo Island, with an on-board dinner stop at Wera along the way.

Day 6: Moyo Island – Labuhan Haji Village – Keramat Island – Senggigi (B/L/D)

You will arrive at about 8:00 am in Moyo and after breakfast you’ll go ashore and walk through Labuhan Haji Village. At noon you will from Moyo to Keramat Island. Your boat will then sail back to Labuan Lombok for an on-board dinner in the harbor and you will then disembark to take a bus transfer to Mataram or Senggigi, before being driven back to your hotel.

Day 7: Transfer from Senggigi to Kuta (B)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel at 10:30 and walk to Senggigi harbor. A fast boat leaves here at 11:30 and arrives in Padang Bai at about 13:00. A shared transfer will be arranged to drive you back to Kuta, where you'll be dropped off at our local partner's office.
