Monkey Forests in the Balinese language called Wanara Wana are spread out on the island and Ubud Monkey Forest serves an important function of the continuity of the monkey habitat in Bali. Ubud Monkey Forest is a small rain forest dwelt by some group of monkeys. The Sacred Monkey Forest serves not only as an important component in the spiritual but also the daily life of the villagers. Tanah Lot Temple Tanah Lot Temple is a Balinese Hindu temple on the rock located in the middle of the sea. The word of Tanah Lot consists of two words that are Tanah word interpreted as a reef looking like gili or isle. Lot or Lod word which means the sea. So Tanah Lot means the small island floating on the sea. Near the temple, there is holy snake which local people believe if the snake guards the temple against bad influence. We can view this temple from several spot points with a spectacular view of the ocean and sunset. We will find the temple adrift on the seawater when the water is going tide because this temple will be surrounded by the seawater.
