7-Hour Private Kyoto Tour: Famous Temples including Golden Pavilion & Arashiyama
This tour starts with pick-up at your preferred location within Kyoto city between 8:00~10:00 (or 9:00 if a time is not specified.) After pick-up, head over to Arashiyama, a district of Kyoto that is always on the list of places to visit for tourists throughout the year for its beautiful changing landscape with each season. You have around 1 hour to explore the area including the Togetsukyo (“Moon-crossing”) Bridge and the main street which will be bustling with other like-minded tourists.
Continue to Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion which has become one of the most famous landmarks of Kyoto. You have 1 hour to stroll around the temple's pond and surrounding garden, appreciating its eclectic architecture
From there, move to another world-renowned location: Kiyomizu-dera temple watches over Kyoto from a cliff, and you can spend around one hour learning about its long history, its sacred waterfall and the many buildings of its complex that have been designated as national treasures. After another brief drive, stop at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine: you have 1 hour to make your way through around 10.000 orange torii gates dotting the mountain's trails.
Your tour concludes back in Kyoto, with drop-off at your requested spot between 15:00 and 17:00, depending on the departure time.
