KYOTO Arashiyama - 180min SAKURA Tour

Choose from three early departures to beat the crowds. Our English-speaking guide will meet you at either the JR Saga-Arashiyama Station or at our rickshaw stand by the Togetsukyo and then guide you along the bustling main street, into the serene BAMBOO FOREST to the NONOMIYA SHRINE, which appeared in a famous piece of Japanese literature, the ‘Tale of Genji’. Here, you will get off the rickshaw and explore the picturesque part of the bamboo by foot, together with your guide.
Afterwards you will head back to the rickshaw, pass by the well preserved rural scenery from the Edo period and then leave the beaten track to enjoy the quiet, traditional streets of Arashiyama as you head further north, into the Saga area.
Visit either the Daikakuji Temple with its fragile, yet beautiful cherry blossoms. Make sure to bring your camera with you! You don’t want to miss this!
Heading back along the main street, your tour will finish at either the JR Saga-Arashiyama Station or at our rickshaw stand by the Togetsukyo Bridge.
