Stop At: WOW! JAPAN Experience+ (Kyoto), 604-8032 Kyoto Kyoto Nakagyo-ku Yamazaki-cho 235 Japan, Shimogyo, Kyoto Kyoto Prefecture

We will meet at 10:00 at Exit 5 of Keihan Sanjo station. After a short walk to the E-bike rental shop, we'll be underway, riding along the Kamo River. We'll then visit Shimogamo Shrine, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan. After that, we'll visit a local market where we ca try various delicacies. Riding on, we'll ride through the middle of the city, through a temple district towards Kamishichiken, which is the oldest Geisha district in Kyoto. We'll then ride up to Kinkakuji (golden pavilion) temple, taking our time to soak in the beautiful sights. After that, we'll take a beautiful cycling road next to the mountains on our way to Arashiyama (E-bikes make hills easy!). We'll relax at a pond, after which we'll head to our last stop, which is a calm and relatively unknown temple near the mountains. We'll then ride down to JR Saga-Arashiyama station, where we'll be finishing our tour.

Children can participate if accompanied by parents/guardians and 145cm or taller in height, and 12 years old or older.

Child seats are available for those who wish to carry a small child with them on their bicycle.

A good tour with Tam a very pleasant guide. Initial difficulties to unlock bikes and fit batteries quickly resolved. The E bike and flat terrain makes for easy going. We stopped at 3 temples/ shrines, one of which had been severely damaged by a cyclone. Perhaps a stop at another a different temple and a different route back would have made the cycle tour slightly better. Overall Good value and fun. Thank you

Our guide Chi was informative and friendly. We all had a lovely time exploring Kyoto. When done Chi was also very helpful which additional information. He took the time to attend to everyone’s needs. The riding was a lot of fun. The bikes were easy to ride, and the power assist came in quite handy on the steeper hills. Thanks for a great day
