1. Explanation regarding the Taiko
Anybody can enjoy to practice Taiko which is Japanese drum if you are young or old, men or women. Also, we welcome to everybody wants to try Taiko, no matter what nationality and how old you are.
2. Learning about the history of Taiko
Wadaiko is one of the traditional music instrument in Japan, and this is "Japanese drum". Recently, we can see them at traditional ceremonies and performing arts like a Kabuki. Also,
there are professional Taiko teams nowadays, Taiko is great instrument to be able to make powerful sounds!
3.Playing all together
We will play a basic song by beating the Taiko. You can make various sounds by how to hold sticks and beat drums, also this is the attractive point. After getting used to play Taiko, we beat to the music. By playing all together, you will all feel a sense of unity.
4.Photo
End of the activity: we will take a photo wearing a traditional Japanese outfit, a happi coat!
Usually, performer to play Taiko always wear "happi" that is a Japanese traditional uniform. Let's take pictures with your favorite posing!
