2days 1night Uyuni salt flat from La Paz

Itinerary

Day 1: LA PAZ - UYUNI – COLCHANI

Stop At: Uyuni salt lake, Bolivia
Pick up from your hotel in La Paz city centre around 7pm and transfer to the bus station. Upon arrival we will take our comfortable bus to Uyuni, direct trip by bus lasts approximately 10 hours, We will arrive at the city of Uyuni around 6am on following.
09:30 Start the tour with the Visit to the train cemetery (old steam locomotives that were used to transport minerals), the Salt mounds (first stage in processing the salt, the drying), Eyes of water (groundwater that flow to the surface), the town of Coquesa, where we will visit its famous mummies (dated from the 700b.c.) and which preserve almost intact part of the skin, hair and fingernails), box lunch, and trekking around the viewpoint of the Tunupa volcano, where we will observe the flamingos in the wetlands.
We continue to Transfer to Colchani to overnight in Salt hotel.

Day 2: COLCHANI – UYUNI – LA PAZ

Stop At: Uyuni salt lake, Bolivia
Breakfast at hotel.
09:30 Visit of the Incahuasi Island (a rocky island in the middle of the salt flat where we can observe giant cactuses, some of them are more than 100 years old, from the top you can see the salt flats in its entirety), box lunch, the Salt Museum built from salt and we will continue the journey to the village of Colchani, where the processing of salt can be observed (drying, grinding and packaging of salt) you will also have the opportunity purchase handicrafts made of salt.
Transfer to the airport or bus station. (B,L)
Return to Uyuni. Arrival around 4:00 p.m. At appropriate time, we will be transferred to the bus station to take our bus back to La Paz, arriving the following day at 6am , and transfer to your accommodation.
