About this activity
After pickup from your Bayahibe hotel, your day tour starts with the drive to the fishing village of Bayahibe, where you'll board a catamaran or speedboat for the ride across the sea to Saona Island.
Spend the morning taking in the natural beauty of this national park, home to pristine beaches and clear Caribbean waters. Participate in activities like volleyball or meringue and salsa dancing, or just relax on a lounge chair on the beach. Souvenir shacks are available if you feel like browsing, and you can grab a refreshing drink at the open bar.
A buffet-style barbecue lunch is served with items like chicken, steamed fish, spaghetti, fried potatoes, salad, white rice, vegetables, tropical fruit, and French bread. The open bar has local drinks, coffee, soft drinks, and water. After about three hours of total time on the island, re-board the boat for the ride back to the mainland, stopping by a 'natural pool' in the sea for a swim. You may also spot starfish in the water during your 1-hour stop here.
When you return to Bayahibe, disembark and board a bus back to your hotel.

Relaxing trip seemed a little rushed. Information on pick up at hotel took several calls to get straight and we felt rushed just to sit around and wait for hours.
