Heart of Cinque Terre

This is not a private tour, but shorter version of the full day trek and it also starts at Riomaggiore train station, but at 9 am. It includes the tour of the village of Riomaggiore and walks into back allies for in-depth feeling of the villages history. Heading up the back to reach the trail and start our hike. You will go up in stages in order give time to catch your breath and learn about Cinque Terre from past to present. Hear the stories that have been told to your guide from the older locals living in the villages. You will go up and deep into the back trails that will pass the village of Groppo. Here too you will lean about it's people and see the olive groves as we pass down towards Manarola. Upon reaching Manarola you will go again into the back allies ways to see this wonderful village as not many people have. Once you reach the marina, you'll see the famous photo right in front or you. This will end your tour, but will give plenty of time to discover the rest on your own. You will need to bring a small backpack to carry your water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and wear good walking shoes. NO sandals, flip flops, high heels or open toes shoes on this trek. There is NO transportation, food or drink provided on this tour.
