We walk up to the town’s monastery, the Convento dei Cappuccini, which has a 400-year history, and past some more recent relics, like a WWII bunker perched over the waves. You don’t have to be a history buff to appreciate the views from up here, though — they are spectacular!

We make our way to a “secret” winery behind the oldest part of town, an oasis nestled amid vineyards and olive and lemon groves. Peaceful and relaxing, you’ll feel plucked off of the busy beaten path and deposited in this beautiful, quiet valley tucked behind the town. You’ll enjoy a tasting of their wines and some snacks prepared with the olives and honey they produce themselves. Even local Cinque Terre residents are impressed by this place.
