About this activity
Your 2 day adventure begins with a 7am pickup from your Lagos hotel, to embark on a 5 hour drive to Osun State. Your first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Osun Sacred Groves, a 72 hectare conserved area located in Osogbo, Osun State. You will explore the Groves with the local tour guide and learn of its mysteries, powers and art. You will then visit the house of Susanne Wenger, an Austrian artist whose works can be seen all over the Groves and who lady famed for protecting and preserving the Groves and who was famous for her efforts in preserving the Groves and developing the art culture in Osogbo.

You will then visit the Nike Art Gallery, after which you will stop for lunch before having the option of learning the art of batik dying with a chance to wax and dye your own fabric. Next, you will be taken on a 1hr drive to Ile-Ife where you will drive by the Ooni of Ife (King's) Palace before being dropped at your hotel to unwind for the night.

Day 2: You will depart your hotel, after breakfast at 8am for a 1 hour drive to Erin Ijesha where you will hike the hills at the Olumirin Waterfalls, in search of the seven levels of waterfalls. Dress lightly and prepare to get wet under the waterfalls, swim/beach wear is advised. After your adventure, you will depart Erin Ijesha at 1pm to embark on a 5 hour journey back to your Lagos hotel
