Venice Full-Day Tour from Lake Garda

Although a long trip, well worth the trouble. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly with a good sense of humour, which made the day even better. Everything was well organised and went very smoothly. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money if you want to do Venice in a day . Guides were excellent well informed providing some scholarly background knowledge to the city of islands. Everything included in the price with the bonus of a ' go ' in a Gondola which you share with fellow travellers otherwise it would cost a fortune ! giving you a completely different perspective of the city from canal level.

Guide Tomas was fun and friendly. The day was very hot - so we took all boat rides he offered. And we are happy we did it. Also lunch offered by viator was good: large portions, a lot of drinks and small dessert was very nice surprise all included in 15EUR.

We were the 1st pick up at Malcesine at 7.50am and we thought there would be 5 more. Not so ! There were approximately 20 more before leaving for Venice at 9.10am. The majority of passengers were German and consequently 80 of the tour commentary from the guide was in German. Whilst we had been warned about the poor lunch option we decided to take it because the guide had warned us about hidden charges at many of the restaurants. The food was inedible and the wine undrinkable. Totally disgusting! We got back to Malcesine at 8.40 pm after the 20 or so drop offs ! My advice would be to take the local bus to Venice which goes on Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday and Friday and save yourself 70 euros for 2 and treat yourself to nice lunch.

Wonderful day trip to Venice. Everything was organised perfectly. However, avoid the food added option. Not great food and lots of other options around for the same price. Great day though and our guide was lovely.

Having booked trips in the past with Viator, we were very happy and confident to book once again. We were not disappointed. As always, a safe and professional driver of a clean, modern coach was provided accompanied by an extremely informative courier simply sealed a very special experience. The cost of the tour was somewhat misleading as usually Viator detail all included and optional items in the pre booking paperwork. During the trip, we were informed that we could take a gondola ride and a sixteen island boat trip at an additional cost of 38 euros per person. This wasn't an issue for us as we had the cash available and had fully intended to make the most of our time in Venice, several travellers were unprepared for this and had to decline. This said, the whole day was quite magical including the two trips. Big thanks especially to Remo, out tour guide! We will definitely use Viator again.

This was a great whistle stop tour prior to us returning on our own the following week. It was well worth Taking the opportunity of the optional gondola ride and the trip around the lagoon.

This tour was on time and organized. The lunch they offer for the cost of 15 euro is not worth it. The guide will tell you that you can't get lunch for under 15 euro a person in Venice and that you should buy the lunch they offer. Skip the lunch and get your own it was horrible. Otherwise tour was ok

Really enjoyed our trip to Venice and our guide and driver were excellent. There was the option to do a boat tour around the lagoon (€16pp) and a group gondola ride (€22pp) which were both fantastic and not to be missed- make sure you bring extra cash for these- just had enough!!
