4x4 Safari south

This "4x4 drive " minvans will take you to most inaccessible areas of the south of Lanzarote. Off road tracks as well as narrow and hidden roads to explore the unknown south of the island, completely away from the traditional tourist routes.

Once all on board, the tour starts from Las Breñas and the first stop will be Las Salinas de Janubio, an incredible natural place with a large lake and a land of 440,000 square meters where salt from the waters of the surrounding coast is piled up and produced.

Next stop is Los Hervideros (Cauldron): a very unique coastal landscape created by the Timanfaya eruption in rapid lava cooling in contact with water. 

One of the highlights is the visit of Gulf and its famous "Lago Verde" (Green Lake), a curious puddle of green water produced by the pileup of the maritime rupia, an algae that lives in these waters.

The tour take you to Yaiza, the capital of the southern municipality, one of Lanzarotes references for the conservation of its architecture. Passing by the Degollada (beheading), a small farmhouse located in Valle Fenauso and finally carry on our route through the volcanoes, which begins in the volcano of La Atalaya (view tower). Next highlight is the visit of Timanfaya National Park Visitor Center, before arriving to La Geria and go to one of its wineries to try the famous Lanzarote wines, continuing towards Femés and its wonderful views, where you can see Fuerteventura´s spectacular Dunes of Corralejo as well as the silhouette of Islote de Lobos (seewolves islet) that can be seen on clear days.

To finish this exciting and adventurous tour, we finally reach the beaches of Papagayo (parrot), considered by prestigious media as one of the best beaches in the world, and one of the most prestigious in the Canary Islands and Spain for its golden sand in crystalline and turquoise waters, unique in the Atlantic Ocean.
