About this activity
The eruption of the Corona Volcano, located north of Lanzarote in the municipality of Haría, formed a volcanic tube of about 6 km that ends in the sea, one of the longest in the world.
In two sites very close to each other, two friends and colleagues, Jesús Soto and César Manrique, designed a creative universe by uniting art, culture and tourism in urban and architectural actions that are fully integrated to the environment.
La Cueva de los Verdes is a minimalist performance with an exquisite lighting work through several overlaid galleries created by the lava, ending in a small auditorium that holds the "secret" of the cave: discover it.
The jameos, so-called only in Lanzarote, are hollows formed on the ground when the roof of the volcanic tunnel collapsed. César Manrique, taking advantage of these holes, created a work of art that literally leaves you breathless: Los Jameos Del Agua.
Its vegetal and architectural beauty and the corners that he created are an invitation. Also, small bar counters and stages, the natural and the artificial lakes ending in a magnificent auditorium, are fantasy in pure state.
