Discover Scuba Diving Beginner Experience in Playa Blanca

Your PADI Discover Scuba Diving program begins with pick up from your hotel between 08:00-09:00 am (the exact time will be given at the time of the booking). At the dive club, you will meet your instructor, a certified PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) professional. You will fill out all of the necessary documentation and a medical questionnaire. The scuba equipment is being prepared by instructors and drop off on the Playa Flamingo Beach, which is next to the Diving Center.

The program is broken into three parts: a theory session, a shallow water session and a dive in the ocean. At first, you will have the briefing about basics of scuba diving. Afterwards you will dress up the wet diving suit and start a shallow water session. Under the watchful eye of your instructor, practice basic diving skills and get familiar with tank, BCD (jacket), regulator, mask and other diving equipment. Learn how to control your buoyancy and breathe underwater!
Finally, you will start your first open ocean dive at the Playa Flamingo dive site (around 20-30 minutes, depending on your air consumption). After entering the water with the instructor, you will check your new skills during an open-water dive up to 12 meters. As you discover the amazing experience of swimming with fish, you’ll be a converted diving lover!
