During the visit to the Timanfaya National Park, you will witness demonstrations of how hot the ground is. See water being pour down the wholes in the ground to cause a explosion of steam and water like a geyser. Feel how hot the pebbles are that surround the area, then take a walk into the restaurant where you will witness food being cooked from the heat of a hole in the ground. The flooring in the restaurant feels like it has underground heating as the warmth seeps through your shoes.
