About this activity
Following convenient pickup from your Lanzarote hotel in an air conditioned minivan, travel to the dive centre in Puerto Del Carmen for your scuba dive. You will be in a small group with a maximum of just 6 people.
When you arrive at the dive center, you will complete some paperwork checking that you are fit and healthy. You will then have a dive briefing explaining scuba diving and the dive you are about to go on. Then, find a wet suit, mask and fins that fit you. The dive is from Playa Chica Bay 150m (about 500ft) from the dive center. Your instructor will help you put the equipment on by the beach, then walk into the sea. Practice breathing and find fish surrounding your feet. When you are ready, it's time to descend under the crystal clear water for the dive. Explore the underwater world of Lanzarote. Along the way, stop off to see the different varieties of tropical fish. It really is an experience that you will never forget. The dive is around 30-35 minutes long, and you go to a maximum depth of 6m (about 20ft).
After you have finished the dive, return to the dive center to remove the wet suit, have a shower and a drink before one of the team members takes you back to your hotel.

- Diving within 12 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Not recommended for pregnant women, or participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- Please bring swimwear, towel, and a change of clothes
