The tour itself is great. You will see beautiful Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Our tour leader, Mike Brown, however, made our experience less appealing. He has terrible organizational skill and lazy. Before the trip, I know we need to assist our tour leader cooking. Actually, We end up doing everything, including cooking, washing dishes, throw away garbage, clean the van, upload and unload our luggage. We stayed at Madison campsite in Yellowstone for two nights, where there is no shower facilities. He clearly told us that he will not drive us to another camp siteabout 15 miles away for showers. After long hiking in a hot summer day, with sunscreen cream and bug repellent all over you, a shower would be really necessary. He supposed to give us a detailed trail map at Grand Tetons, but he didn't. We had to hike with only a basic park map provided by the national park, we almost got lost in the trail. His crisis handling skill is also questionable. One campground outside Grand Tetons had thousands of vicious mosquitoes, we asked him to find a nearby hotel and told him we will pay our own hotel expenses regardless of price. He first tried to squeeze 7 of us into one suite with only one bathroom and then tried to book only 2 rooms. We had to explain to him that sleep is not the issue, but go to restroom in turn would cause a lot of troubles. He later agreed and booked 3 rooms. We arrived at hotel at almost midnight. He asked for 100 tips at the end of the trip. Since he only worked as our driver plus did twice grocery shopping, I gave him half of what he asked.
