Stop At: Chaplin's World, route de Fenil 2, Corsier-sur-Vevey 1804 Switzerland

After meeting your guide outside the tourism office at Lausanne Ouchy by 10:15am, board your comfortable air-conditioned coach or minivan to begin your day trip to explore the Swiss Riviera, Vevey and Chaplin's World. Begin with a ride along the region of Lavaux. The World Heritage site of Lavaux, protected by UNESCO, is also appropriately called “the Wine road” for its terraced vineyards.

Enjoy amazing views of the lake and the Alps, also know as "one of the most famous views in Europe." You will have a photo stop for here for about 10 minutes. Afterwards, discover Chaplin’s World in the morning - a site dedicated to Charlie Chaplin, the artist and the man. Enjoy an extraordinary adventure across time and through the magical world of cinema, designed by Grévin. For the next 1 hour 30 minutes, prepare to be moved by one of the most surprising artists of the 20th century through the sets of his greatest films at this Hollywood-style Studio.

Stop At: Montreux, Montreux, Canton of Vaud

Next, head to Montreux - a glamorous tourist resort - where you'll spend approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to savor a tasty lunch (at own expense). Feel the atmosphere of all the great artists who have visited this place such as Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, BB King, Ray Charles and many more. The emblem of the city is the statue of Freddy Mercury who once said, "If you want peace of soul, you should come to Montreux." This artist, who lived several years in Montreux recorded his last album with the group Queen, "Made in Heaven," in the Mountain Studio, which is inside the casino. You will have the chance to visit Queen’s old recording studio and time to wander through the streets full of fancy shops and landmarks of the famous jazz festival.

Stop At: Chateau de Chillon, avenue de Chillon 21, Veytaux 1820 Switzerland

In the afternoon, you'll drive to Chillon Castle and visit this historical landmark for about an hour. Chateau de Chillon has a beautiful location on a small island in the far western end of Lake Geneva between Montreux and Villeneuve. This romantic castle was long of strategic importance in controlling trade in the Lake Geneva region. The dungeons inspired Lord Byron's writings.

At the end of the tour at the castle, you'll head back to Lausanne arriving around 4:45pm.
