Stop At: Shey Monastery, Indus River, Leh India

Meet your guide in your hotel lobby at 08:30am. Your trip starts with a visit to the Shey palace (15kms south of Leh): Was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17th century AD. The main image inn the monastery is three story statue of Buddha Shakamuni, made of copper gilt

Stop At: Thiksey Monastery, Leh Manali Highway, Leh 194101 India

Then Drive to Visit Thikshey Gompa the most beautifully in all the monasteries in Ladakh, belongs to the Gelukspa order.

Stop At: Hemis Monastery, Hemis India

At 1.30 - 2 Pm pm, break for lunch at a local restaurant (own cost ) later Drive to Hemis Gompa (45kms south of Leh) is one of the most famous and largest monasteries of Ladakh. It belongs to the Dupka order of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery was founded by the first incarnation of Stasang Raspa Nawang of Stagsang Raspa Nawang gyasto in 1630, who was invited by King Singay Namgyal and offered a religious estate throughout the region.
