Itinerary

Day 1: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Pass By: Dal Lake, Boulevard Rd, Srinagar 190001 India
Srinagar Pick-up Pickup from Srinagar Airport and drop to the Hotel / Houseboat, and half day srinagar local Sightseeing Mughal Garden, Shalimar Garden and Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, and Evening stay in Houseboat / Hotel.

Day 2: Srinagar- Zojila- Drass- Kargil ( 205 kms / 5 - 6 hours)

Pass By: Dras War Memorial, Kargil India
After breakfast leave for Kargil, driving through Sonamarg and crossing the Zoji-la pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 mtrs) en-route. Drass, the first town over the pass is famous as the 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world. About an hours drive down the valley from Drass is Kargil, 2nd largest town of Ladakh and headquarters of Kargil district. Overnight in the hotel at Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil - Lamayuru- Leh ( 235 kms / 6-7 hours )

Pass By: Highway, Lamayuru 194106 India
After Breakfast check out hotel and drive to Leh en route viewing visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery .

Driving further on along the Indus, visit Sanagm (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point,

Pathar Sahib Gurudwara & Hall of Fame (museum of military heritage). Reach Leh in the evening.

Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Leh Full Day Rest

After Breakfast full day rest in Leh, and evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, and Evening back to Hotel

Day 5: Leh - Nubra - via Khardungla Pass - Hunder Valley (4- 5 Hrs)

Pass By: Nubra Valley, India
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, proceed to Hunder Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Don,t forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route. Overnight stay at Hunder/Nubra Camp.

Day 6: Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake (4- 5 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Pangong Lake, by Shyok River, Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China.Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay in Pangong Lake in Camp

Day 7: Pangong - Leh (6 hrs) via Changla Pass

Pass By: Changla Pass, India
After early Breakfast check out hotel and drive back leh via Changla Pass,350 ft, and drive back to Leh, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, 3 Idiot School. Evening drop to the Hotel and Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 8: Leh Airport Drop
