Day 1: Arrival at Leh

Stop At: Shanti Stupa Road 500 steps from Changspa Road, Leh 194101 India
Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa, Leh district, Ladakh, in the north Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission.

Day 2: Sham Valley Excursion to Sangam

Stop At: Hall of Fame, Leh-Kargil Road, Leh India

A Gurudwara nestled deep in the Himalayas.

Stop At: Magnetic Hill, Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, Leh 194101 India
Magnet Hill is a "Cyclops hill" located near Leh in Ladakh, India. The layout of the area and surrounding slopes create the appearance of a hill. The hill road is actually a downhill road. Objects and cars on the hill road may appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity when they are, in fact, rolling downhill.

Stop At: Zanskar Valley, Zankar Leh Zanskar River freezes India
The Zanskar River is a north-flowing tributary of the Indus. In its upper reaches, the Zanskar has two main branches. First, of these, the Doda has its source near the Pensi-la 4,400 m mountain-pass and flows south-eastwards along the main Zanskar valley leading towards Padum, the capital of Zanskar.

Stop At: Spituk Monastery, Spituk Village, Leh 194101 India
Spituk Monastery, also better as Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa, is a Buddhist monastery in Leh district, Ladakh, northern India. 8 kilometers from Leh. The site of Spituk was blessed by the Arhat Nyimagung. It was founded by Od-de, the elder brother of Lha Lama Changchub Od when he came to Maryul in the 11th Century.

Day 3: Leh–Nubra Valley Via Khardung La 18,390 FT. (120 KMS / 5 – 6 HRS)

Stop At: Nubra Valley, India
Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
Upon arrival in Nubra, we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.

Day 4: Nubra – Turtuk - Nubra

Stop At: Shyok Camp - Nubra, Hunder, Nubra, Nubra, Jammu and Kashmir 194401
urtuk is about as close as you can get to Pakistan in India, physically and literally. This delightful village is crunched into the narrowing Shyok River valley in the furthest corner of India, right at the tippy-top of the map. Only when the Indo-Pakistan war ended in 1971, Turtuk (together with 5 other Balti villages) was then included within the Indian line of border control. It remained off limits until a few years ago and keeping it well off the beaten track. Turtuk in every sense a treat – culturally intact, untainted by tourism and simply delightful.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong

Stop At: Pangong Tso, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India; Ladakh, , India;, Leh 194101 India
Pangong Tso, Tibetan for "high grassland lake", also referred to as Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, China.
Duration: 20 hours

Day 6: Pangong Lake to Tsomoriri

Stop At: Tsomoriri Lake View Hotel, Korzok Village, Tsomoriri , Leh Ladakh, Leh, Jammu and Kashmir 194101
Tso Moriri or Lake Moriri or "Mountain Lake", is a lake in the Ladakhi part of the Changthang Plateau in Jammu and Kashmir in Northern India. The lake and surrounding area are protected as the Tso Moriri Wetland Conservation Reserve.
Duration: 20 hours

Day 7: Tsomoriri - Tsokar – Tanglangla – Leh (240 KMS / 8 HRS)

Stop At: Tso kar Lake, Keylong Leh Road (Leh-Manali Hwy), Leh 194201 India
The Tso Kar or Tsho kar, known for its size and depth, is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 8: Departure from Leh

Stop At: Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh 194104
