Itinerary
Arrive at Kushok Bakula airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude, met by our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh city 3 to 4 km. On arrival at the hotel welcome drink and then procced to your rooms and take fullday at rest to acclimatize yourself completely to the high altitudes of Ladakh which is must. Evening easy walk to Leh bazaar. Overnight at the Hotel.

Today we shall take you for a Fullday tour of some of the most important and beautiful Monasteries and Palaces on the Indus Valley along driving along River Indus. You shall visit the former summer Palace of the kings of Ladakh i.e. Shey Palace, mini potala like Monastery in Ladakh i.e. Thiksey Monastery which also enshrines the most beautiful statue of Maitrey Buddha and later the largest and the richest monastery in Ladakh i.e. Hemis Monastery. Back to Leh by evening and free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning drive to Likir 53km enroute visit magnetic hill, the magnificent Basgo Castle and the Sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers which are the two largest rivers in Ladakh. Visit Likir monastery and start trek to Yangthang. Overnight at Home stay

Trek towards Hemis Shukpachan village, by crossing Sermanchan-La (3'750m, 12'303ft). Spectacular view of Hemis Shukpachan. Visit the gonpa and O/N at homestay
Pass By: Hemis National Park, Karu Market, Leh 194101 India
Trek over the Meptak-La (4'030m, 13'222ft) to the village of Ang, then southwards to the beautiful village of Tingmosgang. Visit the famous Avalokitesvara and red temples. O/N camp at Tingmosgang
Pass By: Highway, Lamayuru 194106 India
Drive back to Leh: On the way back explore Lamayuru monastery the oldest monastery, moon landscape and explore Alchi monastery, known for its 11th century wall painting, built by Lama Rinchen Zangpo. We reach leh in the evening and Checkin hotel
