About this activity
Departing from Embassy Suites Lexington located at 1801 Newtown Pike in Lexington Kentucky. Board our air-conditioned bus and we will set off on our 2.5 – 3 hour horse farm adventure, while taking in the sights this region has to offer. This tour features approximately area 3 attractions such as Katierich Farms, Hill ‘n Dale, and a lot more private farms or visit a horse hospital. Shaun the best tour guide hands down will show you an amazing experience. At these amazing locations we will be involved with activities such as feeding horses peppermints and seeing the babies such as the nicest American Pharoah foals. Many of the farms we visit have been operated by families for generations and are typically closed to the public. We've developed relationships with these farms and can provide you with a peek at the inner workings of some of the most famous names in the horse breeding industry.

We live here in Lexington, but took our friends in from Philadelphia on this tour. We all really enjoyed it. Tour guide was incredible! His knowledge of horses and Lexington Horse Farms was amazing

Shawn was our tour guide for this exclusive private horse farm tour in Lexington. He knew so much about the race horse industry, we were blown away. We loved that it was a small size tour and our guide had the inside scoop on all the breedrers.

The tour states it is between 2.5-3 hours in duration. We were back at the Embassy Suites in 2.5 hours after stopping at a BBQ restaurant for ice cream. This stop was not mentioned in the ad and any food/drink ordered was paid for by the guest (not included in the cost of the tour as others tours I’ve taken). This was an additional cost that I was not expecting. The tour itself was awesome! We were able to go inside 3 horse barns - but due to rain., we we were unable to pet the horses at the 4th farm.
