About this activity
Day 1 Arrival in Lhasa (3680m)
When arrival at Lhasa airport or railway, our guide and driver will welcome you to Tibet and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 2 Lhasa Sightseeing
After breakfast in the hotel, you will head to the Drepung monastery. It’s famous for the annual Shoton Festival, with the display of huge Buddhist painting on the hillside. After lunch, you will visit Sera Monastery.The most attractive event in the monastery is the Lama debating activity.
Day 3 Lhasa Sightseeing
Today, you will visit Potala Palace. In Potala Palace, a masterpiece of typical Tibetan architecture. In the afternoon, you will head to Jokhang Temple, where is the spiritual center of Tibet. After sightseeing in Jokhang Temple, you will walk the unique circular pilgrimage route as local pilgrims always do at Barkhor Street. 
Day 4 Lhasa- Gyantse – Shigatse
Today, you will drive to the historic town of Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake, which is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. Along the way, we will enjoy the Karola Glacier, then visit Pelkor Chode Monastery, which is the main monastery in Gyantse.
Day 5 Shigatse -Tingri -Rongpuk –EBC
In the morning, you will leave Shigatse for Everest base camp, where you can have the stunning view of Mount Everest. If you feel good, you can do a short trekking to Everest.
Day 6 EBC-Saga 
In the morning, you will drive to Saga via Lake Peiku tso, where you can have a rest there. On the way, you will have a good chance to see the wild donkey and wild antelope.
Day 7 Saga – Darchen
Today, you will drive to Darchen, where you can have stunning views of the great Himalayans to the south and Trans-Himalayan to the north.
Day 8 Darchen-Dirakpuk (Trek 13km)
Today, you will do a trek about 13 km from Sarshung valley to Drirapuk Monastery.
Day 9 Trek from Dirakpuk-Zuktulpuk
Today, you will do a trek to Zultulpuk via climb over the highest pass of the Kora, the Dromala pass.
Day 10 Trek From Zuktulpuk- Darchen
It’s an easy day for you to do a trek to Darchen. Later, you will visit the holy Lake Manasarovar.
Day 11 Manasarovar – Payang-Saga
In the morning, you will do a short trek around Lake Manasarovar, then back to Saga.
Day 12 Saga-Lhatse
On the way to Lhatse, you’ll view the beautiful Tibet villages.
Day 13 Lhatse-Sakya-Shigatse
Today, you’ll drive back to Shigatse via Sakya. On the way, you will visit Sakya monastery and Tashilunpo Monastery.
Day 14 Shigatse – Lhasa
In the morning, you’ll drive back to Lhasa. On the way, you'll visit the Yarlung Tsangpo valley and Tibetan Incense Workshop.
Day 15 Lhasa Departure
Tour ends today. Our driver will drop you to the Lhasa airport or railway station.

  • Travelers need to provide the copy of passports and China visa in advance.
  • Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit (TTB) often takes about 12-working-day to apply. If you couldn’t provide the required docs and information on time, an extra fee for USD 50~80/permit will be charged.
  • If you're flying into Tibet from mainland China: You need the original copy of the Tibet travel permit, so we will send it to your hotel in China.
  • If you're taking a train to Tibet from mainland China: You will need a printed copy of the Tibet permit to enter Tibet, so we will send it by email.
  • If you fly into Tibet from Kathmandu, Nepal: You will not need to have a Chinese visa, but a Tibet Group Visa which applies for the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. When you send the copy of your passport to us, we will help you to get the Tibet Group Visa.
  • Single Supplement: Our quote is based on twin rooms. If you are a single traveler, you will pay a single supplement at the time of booking. If you like, we will try best to match you with another traveler to share the twin rooms, then the single supplement will be refunded.
