Day 1: Arrive Lhasa. Private transfer from Lhasa Airport to the hotel

Stop At: Lhasa Gongga Airport Parking Lot, Gonggar, Shannan, Tibet, China
You will be picked up from the Lhasa airport and then transferred to your hotel. The rest of day is free to relax and acclimate to the high altitude.

Day 2: Sightseeing with a private guide and a driver from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Stop At: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Visit Tibet's holiest shrine of Jokhang Temple to see a solid gold enlightened Buddha. You'll feel the electric atmosphere and immerse yourself into Tibetan culture while wandering through the bustling Barkor Circuit

Stop At: Potala Palace, No.35 Gongqian Alley, Beijing Middle Road Cheng Guan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Lhasa’s cardinal landmark is the Potela Palace, once the winter residence of the Dalai Lama. The palace is an architectural wonder even by modern standards, rising 13 stories from the Red Hill and contains over 1000 rooms. There are daily tours of three stories featuring golden stupas, prayer halls and chapels, but tickets are limited. Your guide will book tickets in advance but visiting times often change, so it’s good to be flexible with your time to be able to enjoy this marvel. Be sure to climb the spired peak of Chakpori Hill, 3725m high located next to the palace. It offers the best panorama view of the ancient city and Potala Palace.

Day 3: Sightseeing and walking tour with a private guide and a driver from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Stop At: Norbulingka (Precious Stone Garden), No.21 Luobulinka Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Norbulingka Palace, meaning “Park of Treasure” used to be the summer palace of the Dalai Lama and was built around 1755. Norbulingka stands over 360,000 square meters and has over 375 rooms that are all filled with various precious flowers and plants, creating a deeply oxygenated, peaceful atmosphere.

Stop At: Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si), Southern Slope of Genpeiwuzi Mountain, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
the 15th century Drepung Monastery, home to over 700 monks and the largest of all monasteries
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Sera Monastery, Wuze Hill , Sera Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Visit the impressive Sera Monastery which is one of Tibet’s most important university monasteries. Observe student monks debating philosophy between 3-5pm daily

Day 4: Depart Lhasa, private transfer from the hotel to Lhasa Airport

Stop At: Lhasa Gonggar Airport International Departure, Gonggar, Shannan, Tibet, China
