Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Lhasa

Pass By: Yarlong Tsangpo River, Nyingchi, Nyingchi County China
Upon arrival Lhasa(3650m), the capital of Tibet, your guide will meet you at the arrival exit. On our way to hotel, you can enjoy the heart-beating highland view along the Yarlong Tsangpo River.

Day 2: Lhasa city tour

Stop At: Potala Palace, No.35 Gongqian Alley, Beijing Middle Road Cheng Guan District, Lhasa 850000 China
You will visit Potala Palace this morning, the highlights of the Tibetan capital. The exotic palace has 13 stories and contains more than 1,000 rooms.Afterwards you will taste Tibetan lunch food at a local restaurant
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Then you will head for the visit to Jokhang Temple, which has a history more than 1300 years old, houses one of Tibet's most venerated images, a solid gold statue of Sakyamuni Buddha.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 851500 China
Later you will indulge into local people to walk around the Barkhor Street that is filled with thousands of pilgrims, shops and tea houses.

Day 3: Lhasa

Stop At: Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si), Southern Slope of Genpeiwuzi Mountain, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
The Drepung Monastery is known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. It is considered one of the “Three Great Monasteries” of Lhasa. The name 'Drepung Monastery' which, in the Tibetan language, means Monastery of Collecting-Rice.

Stop At: Sera Monastery, Wuze Hill , Sera Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Sera Monastery is one of three famous monasteries in the city.The name Sera which means wild rose in the Tibetan language, because the hill behind it was covered with wild roses in bloom when it was built.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Norbulingka (Precious Stone Garden), No.21 Luobulinka Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Hailed as the Summer Palace of Lassa, Norbulingka has been being the palace where the Dalai Lamas work in summer and it is the people’s park where significant celebrations are hold. With the most spectacular sceneries, Norbulingka is the largest garden that enjoys the most popularity among the local people.

Day 4: Lhasa –Tsedang

Stop At: Samye Monastery (Sangye Si), Sangye Town, Dranang County 850800 China
Samye Monastery is the first monastery built in Tibet and the first complete with the three Buddhist jewels of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. With these unique features, this splendid monastery has become an attraction for visitors from near and far.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Yumbu Lakang, Southeast of Zedang Town, Nedong County 856100 China
Later, drive back to Tsedang to visit Yumbu Lhakhang, which was first built by Nyatri Tsenpo, the first Tibetan king at the beginning of the 2nd century B.C..

Day 5: Tsedang

Stop At: Tradruk Temple, Naidong Rd, Nedong County 856100 China
Today you will take a ride to Trandruk Temple which was built in the 7th century by King Song Gampo. The tombs of the Tibetan kings are located here. Today only 9 of them are still visible. Its remaining glory is the Pearl Thangka, an image of King Songtsen Gampo's wife, Princess Wencheng, as the White Tara, created from thousands of tiny pearls meticulously sewn onto a pink background.This is in the central chapel upstairs, which also houses an original statue of Padmasambhava at the age of eight.

Day 6: Tsedang Departure

Stop At: 拉萨贡嘎机场国内出发, Gonggar, Shannan, Tibet, China
Transfer to Lhasa airport to catch your flight to your next destination, where the tour concludes.
