Day 1: Lhasa
Upon your arrival at Lhasa airport, your guide will be waiting for you at the airport exit. Then transfer to the finest local hotel for a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude of 3,650 meters above the sea level.

Day 2: Lhasa (B, L)
After breakfast at your hotel, visit the Norbulingka Park. It is also known as the 'Summer Palace' in Lhasa because successive Dalai Lamas have handled political affairs and lived here during the summer months. Next is the Sera Monastery. One can see the unique Tibetan Buddhist buildings and also be impressed by the precious Buddhist statues, sutra and murals in the monastery. Then learn more about the local lifestyle by visiting a local family.

Day 3: Lhasa (B, L)
Visit the Potala Palace, the highlight of our visit to Lhasa. With a history of 1,300 years, it is the most splendid building that combines the styles of Tibetan Buddhist temple and palace. The delicate cultural relics and beautiful murals in the palace will show you the glorious history and culture of Tibet.
After lunch, proceed to the Jokhang Temple and Gyangjian Tangka Art Store. Continue to explore the surrounding of Barkhor Street, the symbol of the City. Paved by hand-polished stones, it is not a broad street, but shows the original outlook of Lhasa. Finally a visit to the nearby Nunnery will give you an insight of the Buddhist nuns..

Day 4: Lhasa - Shanghai (B, L)
Visit Tibet Museum in the morning. Board an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Your guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the reserved hotel for checking in.

Day 5: Shanghai (B, L)
You will visit Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and a silk shop this morning. An a la crate farewell lunch (valued at CNY120.00 per person and included in our price) will be served at a popular local restaurant.
After lunch, visit the Bund, and have a cruise tour along the Huangpu River. Upon returning to the hotel your guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule. Have a nice trip!
